And to acquaint the Senate that the Commons have passed this Bill, without amendment.

Third reading of Bill C-37, An Act to facilitate the implementation of those provisions of first nations' claim settlements in the Provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan that relate to the creation of reserves or the addition of land to existing reserves, and to make related amendments to the Manitoba Claim Settlements Implementation Act and the Saskatchewan Treaty Land Entitlement Act

The Honourable Senator Wiebe moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Banks, that the Bill be read the third time.

The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.

The Bill was then read the third time and passed.

Ordered, That a Message be sent to the House of Commons to acquaint that House that the Senate have passed this Bill, without amendment.

Reports of Committees

Consideration of the Fourteenth Report of the Standing Senate Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs (Bill C-15A, An Act to amend the Criminal Code and to amend other Acts, with amendments) presented in the Senate on February 19, 2002.

After debate,

The Honourable Senator Milne moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Bryden, that the Report be adopted.

The Honourable Senator Pearson moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Poy, that the Bill, as amended, be placed on the Orders of the Day for a third reading at the next sitting.
